Emotionally Focused Therapy

When relationships feel unsafe or distant, we often fall into protective patterns: pulling away, shutting down, or escalating. EFT helps us understand these cycles and reconnect with the deeper needs underneath.

Emotionally Focused Therapy is an attachment-based approach that helps individuals and couples move out of reactivity and into emotional safety. We focus on the cycle, not just the surface behavior, mapping how each person’s response is shaped by fear, longing, or protective parts working hard to keep them safe.

With compassion and curiosity, we slow things down so you can:

• Name the cycle you’re caught in—internally or with a partner

• Understand the emotional logic behind your reactions

• Restore connection by expressing needs without blame

• Build internal safety by listening to the parts of you that carry pain, fear, or hope

EFT blends beautifully with IFS-informed work. Together, we explore how your inner world and your relationships mirror one another—and how healing in one area can bring relief in the other.

You don’t need to change who you are to be loved. You just need a safe space to explore the patterns—and the parts—that keep getting in the way.
